About Coolmine RFC
Coolmine RFC is located in the North West of Dublin,
We have teams for all ages of boys from U6 (Born 2020) all the way up to our 1st and 2nd Adult team who compete in the Leinster League.
Over the years, we have developed extenstive facilities, on our clubgrounds, located on the River Road at Ashbrook. they now include
- Two floodlit pitches
- Grass Training area
- All Weather Training Area
- Modern Two Storey Clubhouse with changing rooms, a bar and function room
- Car Park
- Strength and Conditioning Centre
- 4 Outdoor Padel Courts (run by our partner Druid Padel, please contact them directly).
On the playing front, Coolmine has continued to prosper.
- The first and second XV compete in the Leinster League.
- The Under 20s Vikings team, a joint venture with Suttonians RFC, compete in the JP Fanagan League.
- We have boys teams from U7s - U18s competing in the Metropolitan League, and Cup Competitions.
- The girls compete in youth teams, which are amalgamated with other clubs at U14/U16/U18.
A selection of Cups and Pennants, from the various sections adorn the upstairs bar area. While concentrating much on the playing front. Coolmine has not neglected the social aspect, and as well as the mandatory trips to England, Scotland and Wales. We have undertaken tours to Italy, France, the Cayman Islands and Hong Kong. Teams at all levels regularly organise tours throughout the year.
